Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (Switch 2)
Part one of the FF7 remake trilogy on Switch 2, with the Yuffie episode included.
This is the 2020 remake on Switch 2, and it includes the Intermission episode starring Yuffie. Like the original remake, it covers only the Midgar section of the 1997 story. Combat mixes real-time action with a pause-and-plan command menu, so it works for both action fans and classic RPG players. Being able to play it handheld is the main reason to pick this version. If you own a PS5 and only play at home, the PS5 version looks and runs better.
| Good for | Switch 2 owners who never played the FF7 remake and want to start the trilogy, or anyone who wants to play it away from the TV. |
|---|---|
| Catch | It's a Game Key Card: the box contains a key, not the full game, so you download it and need plenty of free storage. It runs at 30fps, where the PS5 version has a 60fps mode. It only covers the opening Midgar part of the original story. |
